General Uses and Object Types
Kooltra has multiple objects available for bulk import. These can be used for bulk uploading new records, bulk changes to existing records, or a combination thereof. This functionality is available both during implementation to streamline the process and during daily use to meet any currently unsupported custom integration needs.
The primary import use cases are for the following objects:
- Accounts: These represent your clients and their information including type, addresses, statuses, authorizations, etc.
- Contacts: These are individuals which can be related to one or many accounts, and include information specific to the person, including emails, addresses, authorizations, roles, etc.
- Nostros: These represent your holdings with your bank accounts.
- FxTrades: This group includes Spot, Forward, and Swap trades against a given currency pair.
- Cashflows: These represent the actual cash movements in the Vostro/Nostro accounts. They can be free-format adjustments, or settlement instructions attached to a specific FxTrade. Subtypes of cashflows can be defined including Wire, ACH, EFT, etc.
- Beneficiaries: These represent the instructions that can be assigned to a cashflow for a given account. Here we define the banking information, account numbers, settlement types associated with this beneficiary (i.e. ACH, SWIFT, PAD, etc.). A single beneficiary can have multiple settlement types associated with it.
